How long have you been into videography?
Alongside my mama, I have been watching her & helping her with video projects since I was in middle school. I didn't complete my first video until I was a freshman in high school. I would make films for my high school for football games, homecoming weeks, etc. I also made videos for fun of my own pictures and videos. From there, I have taught myself, & just played around with video editing software on my Mac computer.
How long have you been filming weddings?
I filmed a wedding or two for family & friends back when I was in high school. They needed someone to film, I was already attending, so why not?? Then in 2017, is when I filmed my first "official" wedding that I edited all on my own. It is crazy to look back to see how far I have come. My first wedding as "Mylife Media Videography" was the end of 2019. Then, the corona virus happened, and put a halt to starting my business along with everyone else in the wedding industry. I started back October 2020 & have been filming ever since!
What part(s) of the wedding day do you capture?
It all depends on what you want! Most people want the entire ceremony & reception filmed. My most popular package is a highlight film delivered 2-3 weeks after wedding day, and then a full length wedding film with the entire ceremony and reception delivered 8 weeks after wedding day. How long will it take to edit the wedding video? I don't want to wait six+ months!
I take editing all of my films very seriously, and want to give you the best video ever! Depends on what all you would want. Highlight films (3-4 minute film) are given 2-3 weeks after wedding day, and the final wedding film at 9 weeks. If you choose just to do a highlight film that is longer than the ones I typically do, 4-5 weeks is the turn-around.
How much is the deposit, & when is the remaining balance due?
I require half of a down payment in order to reserve your date in my books. The other half of the balance is due two weeks before wedding day. However, I know how stressful weddings can be, so I do offer payment plans. I am willing to work with you :)
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
If you have already booked with me, & you decide to change your mind, there will absolutely be NO REFUND for the percentage that you put down to reserve your wedding date.
